Roberto Firmino will leave Al-Ahli this summer, with the Saudi Arabian side's president confirming an agreement to terminate his contract.

Firmino has a year left on his contract, but club president Khaled Al-Ghamdi has told Saudi media that they have an agreement has been reached with the 33-year-old that will allow him to leave after two years in the Middle East.
The former Liverpool striker failed to live up to expectations in the Pro League, but he was important to Al-Ahli's continental success, scoring six goals and setting up seven for the Asian champions, with two of his assists coming in the 2-0 final win against Kawasaki Frontale.
Firmino will already be on the lookout for a new club and Ben Jacobs reports he is actively looking to organise a return to his native Brazil, where Flamengo could attempt to snap him up.
